Main Street is the home of the historic Balboa Pavilion which supported Big Band greats like Benny Goodman and Count Basie in the 30s and 40s.

And public education is provided by The Newport Mesa Unified School District with highly ranked facilities for this area including Newport Elementary School, Horace Ensign Intermediate School, and Newport Harbor High School.
